  19. I hope someone would help me solve a little problem:

  21. My recently acquired USR Sporter 14.4k doesn't work
  22. properly with both a version of kermit I've been using
  23. and the latest one from Columbia.  In both cases,
  24. I applied the script for Sporter modem as instructed.
  25. I've also tried different settings: rts/cts, xon/xoff,
  26. different speeds...etc-all without much luck.

  28. When I'm using the newsreader 'tin,' the arrow pointer
  29. would shows up many places at once on the same column.
  30. Keyboard scan codes for the arrow keys (^[[H, ^[[G)
  31. would also show up when I try to move the curror 
  32. though different articles fast.
